JOHN BOX John has over 40 years experience in the Electricity Distribution Industry and is the Area Services Manager- Wide Bay South for Ergon Energy. He has a strong community service focus, being the current President of the Kingaory Local Ambulance Commmittee, a board member of the South Burnett Community Training Centre, one of four South Burnett community delegates on the Stanwell Corporation - Tarong Power Station's Community Partnership Fund, a Life Member of Kingaory APEX, a Justice of the Peace and an active member of several South Burnett Community Service Committee's and in his spare time with his family of three children, wife Christine and ten wonderful grandchildren. WINSTON BURROWS Family man Winston is a proud South Burnett local who grew up in Wondai and ran a fueld distribution business and backhoe and tipper business for 34 years. These days, Winston continues to run his earthmoving business. Winston has been involved in many community organisations over the years including the Wondai Country Club, Secretary/Treasurer of the Wondai and District Band Association Inc for 47 years and member for 51 years, QLD Fire and Rescue Service Firefighter for 40 yeaers having received a National Medal and two Clasp's and The Deligent and Ethical Service Medal and currently a member of the Queensland Retired Firefighters Association.
COUNCILLOR KATHY DUFF Kathy has lived in the South Burnett all her life and has her own cattle and timber business. She is a keen horsewoman who lives on her family cattle property "Di Di" station, selected by her Grandfather in 1916. Kathy is involved in many community groups and organisations and sees being involved with Crow FM as antoher way to help out the community.
ANDREW HOBBS Born in Kingaroy Andrew moved to Brisbane with wife, Gaye, to undertake further studies where he completed a Bachelor of Commerce through Griffith University and subsequently undertook post graduate studies to become a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. Andrew, his wife and three children love the country lifestyle of the South Burnett and Andrew now runs his own accountancy business, Hobbs & Associates in Wondai.
