COUNTRY HOUR WITH CHANTAL
SATURDAYS FROM 6AM
KEEPING IT COUNTRY
Like the great Dolly Parton once said - "if you talk bad about country music, it's like saying bad things about my mumma...them are fightin' words". It's a good thing the South Burnett region loves it's country music then! Wake up, roll over and switch on your radio every Saturday morning from 6am to hear Crow's Country Hour with Chantal. From featuring all the classic country hits you love, to introducing you to new Australian and International country singer-songwriters you need to know; it's a solid hour of the best country music. What a perfect way to boot-scoot into the weekend. Since the Country Hour commenced on-air in January 2018, Chantal has brought the South Burnett exclusive interviews with some of Australia's most loved country artists including The Wolfe Brothers, John Williamson, Casey Barnes, Beccy Cole and Andrew Swift. From overseas, the likes of Tanya Tucker, Corey Marks and The Hello Darlins have joined the program too.
Chantal has come a long way since her days growing up on a fruit farm in Central Queensland; riding on tractors and eating way too many mangoes and paw paws. These days she is known as 'The Queen of Country' at Crow FM 90.7...and for good reason too! One of her passions is sharing the stories and incredible songs of Australia's talented country music singers and songwriters. When she's not listening to country music or 90.7, Chantal's personal playlist spins up favourites from the likes of Elvis Presley, Fleetwood Mac, R.E.M, Eminem, Bruce Springsteen and Matchbox 20. After a busy day in the office you'll often find her watching the latest TV show or feel good movie with her kids on the couch; or dancing in the kitchen while cooking up a storm - all while wearing her beloved Penrith Panthers supporters gear.
