Lacey has grown up in the South Burnett with ties to Chinchilla and Durong. After studying a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Queensland in Brisbane with majors in writing and English literature, and electives in popular music and forensic archaeology, Lacey then returned to the South Burnett to be closer to my family and readopt the peaceful country lifestyle.

Lacey works as the social media manager for an international publishing company, doing freelance novel editing, and writes a monthly article for the Frankie magazine blog.

Lacey hosts her own show on Sunday Nights from 6pm - LACEY LIKES.

In Lacey's show, Lacey plays a wide variety of different music under the broader guise of ‘alternative rock’, things like punk, metal and indie.  Each week has a different theme, whether it be a specific genre, a fun category, or a holiday special.  Some of Lacey's favourite artists include Slipknot, Blink 182, Green Day, The Offspring, Good Charlotte, The Misfits, Cancerslug, Blitzkid, NOFX, Sex Pistols, Ramones, My Chemical Romance, plus a million more. Lacey also shares some interesting facts about each band, and her own memories or experiences with the song.
